Selling our home of 21 years at 34919 Oyster Bay Terrace was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. My husband and I moved here from Poland to build a better life for our family, and this house was where we raised our two children, celebrated birthdays, and shared countless everyday moments. Every corner held a memory, and watching the warm orange walls turn white for the new owners was harder than I ever expected.
To make things even more stressful, I was preparing for surgery and we needed to sell before then. I was nervous, anxious, and, to be honest, I cried more than once during the process. But every time I felt overwhelmed, Christine Nguyen and Shela Poblete were right there to calm me down. They didn’t just talk about the steps of selling a home — they listened, they reassured me, and they reminded me that while it was sad to say goodbye, it was comforting to know the buyers would love and take care of our home as much as we did.
Christine and Shela were always on time, always communicative, and always prepared. They truly put their blood, sweat, and tears into making this sale happen for us. Even when we went into contract and it fell through — which felt like a punch in the gut — they made sure we were protected. They kept our spirits up, telling us the right buyer was still out there, and just two weeks later, they brought us an even better offer that was exactly what we had been hoping for.
I am so grateful for the way they guided us, both professionally and emotionally. They treated our home and our story with respect, and they treated us like family. Selling a house is never just about the paperwork — it’s about letting go of a piece of your life, and they understood that better than anyone.
I would highly recommend Christine Nguyen and Shela Poblete to anyone buying or selling a home. They will fight for you, care for you, and make sure that no matter how emotional the process is, you’ll never have to go through it alone
