I was a little leary doing everything by phone or UPS. Rick was very considerate of my feelings and inexperience. He guided me every step of the long way. He calmed me so I didn't have any panic attacks. He took the time to listen to my woes and told me of his own. I feel I have a friend for life. Rick will recieve all my future business. If it wasn't for Patrick Sweeney I probably would not have gone through with my reverse mortgage. He was extremely professional (but also very friendly) and took a lot of time explaining the process, etc. I have recommended him & Open Mortgage to friends.

Well, I have nothing to compare it to, but I will say this: Rick/Mr. Sweeney was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He also seemed to be just an all around nice guy. Of course, I realize he had a (probably very nice) commission resting on the successful completion of my reverse mortgage, but he NOT ONCE gave me the impression that his commission was the foremost factor.
Cable tv companies, cellphone companies, and many others could do very well taking lessons on REAL customer service from Rick.
