Paul was my second and last try to find a realtor that matched my values and work ethic. My realtor prior to finding Paul was extremely lacking and had a poor outlook on clients that weren't buying half a million dollar homes.
Upon first speaking to Paul it felt so natural and he got right to work. He sent me homes in my price range after seeing the two or three homes I already had my eyes on. He responded ASAP whenever I reached out with questions or even just verifying things were going to plan. Within a day or so of having him as my realtor I found my home, I reached out to tell him I wanted to place an offer. He didn't try to just make an offer at asking, he recommended starting below asking, and the sellers accepted that offer within a few hours!
The entire process Paul was there, whether it was a phone call or texts he was checking in and making sure I didn't have any questions or concerns. I was buying the home blind, the home was in Gulfport while I was still living in California. So Paul was my eyes, we did a video call to tour the entire home, he took account of the way the home smelled, the condition of appliances that would come with the home, and the windows. He took the hassle out of finding a home inspector, offered a second pair of eyes when submitting a work request for some issues found that the sellers would have to fix, he ensured I would not have to pay any closing costs, he set me up with a referral from his ADT agent, he even gave me my very first house warming gift and informed me on how to turn on my water and electricity.
Paul was literally a blessing, not even in disguise. He blessed me and my infant daughter with the opportunity of me purchasing our first home! He made the process so straightforward and left little to no room for questions or concerns to even be had. He was literally on top of everything. Working with Paul made me finally feel like I was a priority in this home-buying process and I will forever be grateful for everything he did for me and my daughter to ensure we would have a bright future in our new home.
Upon closing he showed me the ins and outs of the house in person and gave advice and tips on how to do certain maintenance and upkeep tasks, as homes in MS have different things that need to be taken care of compared to homes in California.
Paul was patient, he didn't belittle me for having a lower price point or being brand new to purchasing property. Even though the house has been closed on and I am set to move in I know that I can always call Paul if anything arises that I need a little more guidance on. Working with him felt so natural and easy-going. I am usually a recluse and deal with anxiety when it comes to unfamiliar environments/situations and people but I didn't have any issues when it came to Paul. He made sure everything was comfortable.
It was an absolute pleasure to work with him and get to know him not only as my realtor, but as a person. I owe so much to Paul for his efforts, encouragement, and belief in me.
