Justin Santolaya has been the most amazing real estate agent from beginning to end. I have heard of so many people putting in offers on so many homes and getting outbid that they eventually gave up or compromised on something they didn't really like. The house we closed on last Friday (3/22/22) was the first house we put an offer on and the only house that we really loved. We got it because Justin knew exactly how to structure the offer. And our bid was not even the highest!! Justin is so smart, so savvy, and so clever about the market and about how to approach the other agent that using him gave us so many advantages. And on top of this he is incredibly personable and kind. I didn’t know it was possible to find an agent who combines all these traits in one person. I was continually surprised throughout the process at his talent, intelligence, and warmth. It’s hard for me to believe that there is a better real estate agent out there.

And one more thing, Justin helped us save a bunch of money in purchasing our house. Between the loan agent’s help and Justin’s help, I paid no closing costs at all! Approximately $14K in savings!

As a real estate agent, Justin conducted his work thoroughly and efficiently throughout the entire listing, browsing and negotiation process. They marketed my home for a fast sale that met all of my expectations.

My wife and I have been working with Justin during the purchase of an apartment in San Diego and the subsequent listing as rental property.

All along the process, Justin has shown an exceptional professionalism. He was regularly providing notifications about the upcoming properties on the market that corresponded to our criteria, and once we selected the one of our choice, he was very proactive in organizing the visit and discuss our options. He demonstrated to be very knowledgeable about the legal and administrative steps, and supported us in preparing an offer, working closely with our financial broker to make the process as smooth and as clear as possible.

He has been always available to suggest options, to answer any question we might have, and overall he demonstrated great understanding of the real estate market and business.

Subsequently, it was very natural to keep working with Justin when we decided to put our property on the rental market. Again, he did an outstanding job in supporting with the online advertising, the showings and the coordination of all related activities.

Highly recommended! My husband and I were new to home buying, so it was important for us to work with a realtor to whom we can trust and rely on. Justin and his team helped us every step of the way. Justin was extremely communicative and easy to reach to answer any of our questions at all times. The full closing process, from the initial offer acceptance to the closing date, took us less than 25 days mostly thanks to Justin's impressive knowledge of the end-to-end home buying process as well as his extensive network of partners in the area who can provide quick, efficient and reliable service as needed. Justin's hard work ethic is much respected and appreciated. He was always on our side working to make our house purchase as simple and successful as possible. Retrospectively, I can only say that we were so fortunate to have been referred to him: he was the right agent at the right time. Justin’s network of connections and knowledge of San Diego area are out of this world. Given that we’re not familiar with the region, this was of huge help.
Justin’s dedication to helping us find the home of our dreams was beyond admirable. Importantly, he was always more focused on answering our questions, giving us good advice, and finding our perfect home than he was on closing a deal. Throughout the entire process, from our first contact until close of escrow, Justin truly listened to our needs and he made himself available via any method of our choice - email, business phone or cell phone, which we appreciated and took advantage of.

It was a pleasure to work with Justin on selling my condo. from the first moment I saw in professional in the , is a serene person which does not create anxiety, does not press, and really listens to your wants and needs. Working with Justin was an easy and smooth experience. He sold our home quickly and for over asking. He always was prompt with our questions and kept us in the loop. We highly recommend Justin Santolaya as a real estate agent!! We were ready to stop renting and become homeowners. And we were prepared for a long search, full of disappointments, given the current, tight, and very face-paced market. Thank goodness we were wrong!
Justin listened to our priorities and budget. We viewed a few properties; Justin was flexible and quickly arranged additional ones to view because many that we were interested in were already pending sales. On our first weekend visiting properties, we came across one that made both of us smile. Justin advised us to make an offer to avoid the regret of not doing so.
In making the offer, we kept telling ourselves it was to gain experience with the market, avoid having regrets - at least we made an offer even if we got beat out. Our offer made it to the counter-offer phase, and then our counter offer was accepted. I do not think this would have been possible without Justin’s guidance and extra efforts. Justin answered all of our questions, always giving us space to decide what we were comfortable with before moving forward. Justin is a master facilitator and an expert. He helped us navigate the escrow and loan process efficiently. We are beyond amazed that we are now homeowners!
Justin was highly attentive, proactive, and responsive. Regarding communication, he returned all phone calls, texts, and emails the same day, usually within minutes. He is friendly and professional. We were referred to Justin by a great friend. The first time I talked to Justin over the phone, he was kind and incredibly informative about the market in North County, San Diego. He told me exactly what I needed to do to get ready to start the process of owning real estate here.
Once we were ready to buy, he was right there ready to help. He knew how to navigate during this incredibly hot market. Since we were not able to personally view all of the properties we wanted to see as we were out of town, he went in our place and Video chatted with us so we still had access.
When we found the property we wanted, he was always available over the phone and text to walk us through the time sensitive process.
His response was always immediate so we did not miss an opportunity or deadline.
He helped us create a very competitive offer so that ours was chosen among many.

Justin is and amazing guy. Very honest and very dedicated to his profession. He takes his job seriously and is never tired of any number of questions thrown at him.
