Superlatives don’t do justice in describing the experience of working with and observing James Madalone performing the role of real estate agent and broker. We have purchased houses throughout the years both as personal residences and many for rent and ultimate resale.
James, hands down is the most dedicated, professional, competent real estate person we have ever dealt with. He came to our initial meeting dressed immaculately in a white shirt and tie. He was fully prepared having done his homework. He had pictures of my mother-in-law’s house, details regarding the layout, comps for recent sales and listings in the area and a marketing plan designed to maximize the value of the house.
When we met with him at the sale house he had many recommendations regarding eliminating furniture that was “old” and the positioning of the balance of the furniture. James had professional pictures taken and prepared a beautiful multipage brochure which he sent to real estate agents in the area. He also contacted agents in the northeast to let them know about the house for any client moving to our area. Unlike many agents who lowball the asking price, James pushed the limits. Guess what, we had multiple offers (over asking price) within a week.
James was always accessible by text or phone and followed up on every issue immediately.
James has our unequivocal recommendation and support. We would be happy to serve as a reference for him.

James was amazing!

My father-in-law was a committed "for sale by owner" man who had an active distaste for Realtors. Dad is not in the best of health and really needed to make sure he got the most for his home that he could. I did my part in fielding questions from prospective buyers (mostly nosy neighbors and Realtors looking for a listing) and showed the home a few times. It was very unpleasant to deal with most Realtors but James caught my attention by being very positive and active listening to Dad's (and my) situation.
James took time to explain what he does, why he does it and what the benefit for Dad would be.
I recommended James take over the listing and Dad was wary at first but James worked so diligently and truly cares that by the end of the sale "anti-Realtor" dad is recommending him to anyone who will listen!
At the closing Dad said he couldn't thank James enough and he really is like family now.
We are very grateful to have found someone like James who cares so much and works so hard.
