If I could give Jim 10 stars, I would. My wife and I worked with Jim 20 years ago and remembered what a pleasant experience we had. He helped us both buy and sell homes in Grove City and Galloway. We sold my parents’ house and needed help on various things since there was not a will. Jim’s keen eye for details and global knowledge made this transaction seamless. Jim is so personable and knowledgeable that I consider him a Nostradamus in this business. Wow, what a superlative experience overall! Thank you, Jim from myself and all 7 siblings!

I have had the pleasure of working with Jim Staten on two separate home sales transactions - both on the buying and selling ends of the deals (8 years between the two).

As a buyer, Jim helped me find the perfect home and I couldn’t have been happier with his guidance on the transaction. My husband and I have had a few real estate transactions in the past few years and due to our properties not being in the Columbus area we have had to use a couple different realtors. We always knew Jim was great, but now after having to buy and sell a couple houses without him we know he is THE BEST and I promise we’re not just saying that because he is my dad. So thankful for his help in selling our house and driving to Dayton to help us find our dream home! I have used Jim Staten as a realtor twice, once to buy my home and once to sell my mother’s. I found him to be knowledgeable and professional. We interviewed four realtors. Jim stood out from the others. He was professional and presented multiple examples of homes in the area that were similar in price and size. Jim was upfront and honest about the amount we could get for our home. His paperwork, staging, and instructions for selling our home were presented well. Even though we were going through a separation, Jim was able to easily communicate all of the information separately. Jim was very good at defusing tense situations and providing solutions. I would highly recommend Jim Staten to anyone buying or selling a home.

Jim was the perfect Realtor for us. As first time home buyers he was always available with our many questions. He gave us great insight as to options in financing, different options in buying (building vs rehabbing vs ready to move in) and is EXTREMELY knowledgeable in the real estate business! Each time we went to visit a home I did not feel rushed or pressured to make a decision, instead it was quite the opposite. Jim took time to weigh out the pros and cons of each house according to our desires, which in turn helped us make a decision in this fast -paced market. He also has a quick and efficient online presence - all documents were sent and signed online and we got listings that matched our criteria every day. If Jim wasn't available by phone right away he always texted with a time he could talk or answered our question. The closing process was relatively smooth and the few hiccups we did have (with the title company) Jim was right there fighting on our behalf to get things corrected. Jim is definitely your advocate when you hire him and he goes the extra mile! Once we started moving Jim didn't stop serving us, he was able to recommend electricians, plumbers, excavators and anything we needed to make the transition smooth. Jim is now a friend and we are proud to call him our realtor!!
