I am a life long resident of the North Country where I reside in the town of Peru. I am the daughter of the late Paul Calkins, and have been with Calkins Realty (RE/MAX North Country Calkins Professionals) since 1999.

I graduated from Peru Central School, Canton ATC with an Associates degree in Banking, Insurance, and Real Estate, and SUNY Oswego with a degree in Business Administration. I joined the family business after a successful 11 year career in retail store management. Since joining the firm, I have consistently been a multi-million dollar producer. I am a member of the RE/MAX Hall of Fame and have my GRI, CRB, RSPS, and SFR Designations. I am the Co-Owner and Managing Broker for RE/MAX North Country.

I listen carefully to my clients and successfully match their needs with an appropriate investment in real estate. I love the North Country and my pride in being part of the family owned business is only exceeded by my desire to fulfill your expectations as a professional Realtor.

With the passing of my mother I became responsible for selling her home and the prospect of trying to do this from out of state seemed daunting. Tina came to the rescue, not only with the sale of the house, but with a multitude of connections and assistance in prepping the house for sale and dealing with the contents from afar. She is a consummate professional and one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure to meet.

Thank you so much for the wonderful job you and your company has done for us. It was by far the fastest and easiest way to to sell our house. We left one week to sign papers for our new home in the South during which time Tina was busy advertising and showing our home in New York. The day we returned , an offer was written up that evening and agreed upon that same evening. It was smooth and professionaly handled. Our worries were no longer worries. She was very attentive to our wants and need and any of our questions we had. Tina Covey is number one in our book!
