Kelly did a fabulous job of selling our house. First of all, she gave us a frank evaluation of a strategy for the sale, especially how to prepare the house. She made this very easy by having a contractor available to get the job done in less than a week. A few additional items were done by her husband, again expeditiously. I love my home and made many improvements over the years, and so, the decision to sell it and seek the support and assistance from a local realtor was not an easy one! I was fortunate, however, to find an experienced, smart, talented and patient real estate agent, that I could trust and rely upon.
As I began the process, I did not know any realtors and had no knowledge about Kelly, and simply decided to make a few “cold calls” to real estate agencies in my neighborhood. Kelly was the only realtor to respond within 24 hours, and this was followed by an initial meeting, where I received a very professional presentation and a wealth of information to help me make very important decisions about this sale. During this same meeting, she toured my home and made a number of observations, followed by many excellent suggestions about how to properly prepare my home.
Two months later, I was ready to move forward and we met again to review, discuss and agree upon aspects of the contract with REMAX. We recently used Kelly Cerquone as our real estate agent for house purchases in the Rochester, NY area. We were in the unique position of needing two separate homes at the same time. My husband and I had similar needs but also we were willing to accept different things in our house. I wanted only one floor while my husband was willing to have a basement. The market that existed when we started looking in mid- May was a crazy situation. Houses were on the market for just days and then bids were due. Decisions had to be made almost instantaneously. Also, because we lived 3 hours away, our daughter was our point person for deciding what to visit and what to bid on. There were decisions to be made about location of homes for medical reasons. All of this presented a complex situation that Kelly helped us manage and understand. She was friendly, patient, informative, available, professional and gave good advice in all this craziness. When we finally purchased one of the homes, I went to do a walk through prior to closing on the home I had only seen in pictures. I didn’t know what details I was even supposed to be looking for.
