Brent is very careful not to push ones pallet too far beyond their personal comfort zones, while still recommending and introducing us all to a broader and more diverse delights, as well as what dining accompaniments are best suited to the wines he recommends.
For those of us who are more adventurous, Brent is happy to throw the doors wide open and challenge our senses with his selections. I personally have never been dissatisfied with his recommendation, although I do have my favorites that I keep coming back for, recommending to my friends, and buying as gifts for those that I love and appreciate.

i like aged wines and when i got to know Brent, i was skeptical at first but have come to appreciate his depth and his no-nonsense attitude to wines. he does not push "expensive" wines but gets to know your tastes and recommends the best value.
Brent is a great guy to buy wine from! If you are into high end wines, he has extensive knowledge and access to well known and boutique wines. If you are into wine value, he is very good at matching your desired price with the attributes that you enjoy. Their shop LOOKS very expensive. It is not.
