We visit The Vintage Wine Bar on Santana Row quite often, just to have a flight of sparkling wines and enjoy the location...our home neighborhood. Leslie is the best. Always welcoming, has wine knowledge and makes you feel at home as her customer. Thank you, Leslie, you are doing a great job!

Gregg, has a good sense of humor and a wealth of knowlege concerning wine. His customer service skills are excellent. His honesty is unmatched by his ability to guide you to the selection of choice. Aide plus excellent.

I've been visiting Harry at Vintages since they opened. My kids refer to him as "Uncle Harry" even! But it's not just Harry. Everyone there is fantastic, and we feel like we're with family when we're there.
What can I say about Mr. Fong? Not only does he live and breathe wine, it's his whole being! :) He is another person whom you can rely on for anything pertaining to wine. Oh yeah, he is a nice and personable guy too! ;) And if you're lucky, you can taste a good bottle of burgundy if he happens to open one up! Him and Greg has turned me into a burgundy lover and there's no turning back now!!
I can't say enough good things about Greg!! It's unbelievable how much he knows about wine! He has an answer to everything I ask- I swear he is the wine encyclopedia :) If you know what you want or would like recommendations on any type of pairings or special occasion, etc., Greg has a perfect choice for you!!

When I usually go to Vintage on Friday nights, Deb always greets me with her beautiful smile! Just like the rest of the staff, she is very helpful, enjoyable to talk to and knowledgeable of the various wines.

We stumbled into Vintage on a cold rainy day in May and didn't really know what to expect but were greeted immediately by a red haired fire cracker of a wine expert. Drew had us make ourselves comfortable and asked a few questions about what we we were interested in and as we were really just "coming in out of the rain", he suggested a few great vintages for us to try. There was no pressure and my husband and I were impressed by Drew's knowledge of wines and his easy demeanor. Before we knew it, a couple of hours had passed and I don't think it was a coincidence that as we left Vintage Wine Merchants, the sun was breaking through the clouds ! We continue to enjoy the bottles we purchased and will be back to enjoy the great selection Vintage Wine Merchants has to offer . Thanks Drew for brightening up a cold grey day

Harry Fong makes Vintage Wines like the old tavern in Cheers! It is nice to be in a place where everyone calls you by your name and Harry brings that personal attention to the fore at Vintage Wines!.Harry will even pick a wine for you and say "Tell me what you think of this, I really like it and I can give you a good deal on it today." What a guy! And his picks are always the best!!

Vintage is a great wine shop and bar. It was my favorite bar in San Jose, and not just due to my being a wine server there. Harry is a great manager, full of knowledge about wine, regions, varieties, and what you might like to watch your next episode of Anthony Bourdain with, to bringing an impressive bottle to a party. He takes pride in his company, and in turn trains his employees to be smart, helpful staff, and his persona and ability to make wine feel fun, unpretentious, and an adventure attracts a great crowd of friendly regulars to the shop and bar. I miss my time there dearly, and hope that Vintage will keep thriving for years to come.

Vintage Wine Merchants is the perfect place to drink your favorites wines, taste new ones, and get the best recommendations from the team of experts!
Harry and his team are fantastic to work with! I do corporate events and need a wide variety of wines from very affordable to high end. Harry and Brent always have great suggestions that fit into my budget....they are a pleasure to work with!

Vintage Wine Merchants at Santana Row is an outstanding wine shop. Harry Fong and the entire staff are legendary - knowledgeable, welcoming, and always respectful. Come by alone or with some friends for a casual drink and enjoy a great selection of wines by the glass. Or drop by with an idea for a dinner and ask about wine pairings and they'll steer you to an excellent wine within your budget. Want to know more about ... say, how to decipher the "code" on a wine label? They have the knowledge and more! Want something special for a rare event (or rarer person)? Harry and the gang can guide you to a bottle of wine that will knock your socks off. All in all, Harry Fong and Vintage Wine Merchants have it all: great wine selection, a great, welcoming atmosphere, and an outstanding staff. Check it out!

Brent is a fabulous host, who pays great attention to detail and the individual preferences of his patrons.
Brent is very careful not to push ones pallet too far beyond their personal comfort zones, while still recommending and introducing us all to a broader and more diverse delights, as well as what dining accompaniments are best suited to the wines he recommends.
For those of us who are more adventurous, Brent is happy to throw the doors wide open and challenge our senses with his selections. I personally have never been dissatisfied with his recommendation, although I do have my favorites that I keep coming back for, recommending to my friends, and buying as gifts for those that I love and appreciate.
