We stumbled into Vintage on a cold rainy day in May and didn't really know what to expect but were greeted immediately by a red haired fire cracker of a wine expert. Drew had us make ourselves comfortable and asked a few questions about what we we were interested in and as we were really just "coming in out of the rain", he suggested a few great vintages for us to try. There was no pressure and my husband and I were impressed by Drew's knowledge of wines and his easy demeanor. Before we knew it, a couple of hours had passed and I don't think it was a coincidence that as we left Vintage Wine Merchants, the sun was breaking through the clouds ! We continue to enjoy the bottles we purchased and will be back to enjoy the great selection Vintage Wine Merchants has to offer . Thanks Drew for brightening up a cold grey day

Drew is great! He is friendly and knowledgeable. He always makes great recommendations and always has a smile on his face. I have told friends and family to specifically ask for Drew if they are in Vintage. He is a real asset to store.

Drew has been great at what he does! No matter where he is in the store he always seems to greet everyone that walks through the front door. Very Charismatic, and very knowledgable..when Drew pours you your wine he walks you through what wine your tasting, what region and makes you feel like your in the region where the wine is grown.
There are a few Wine Tasting bars in the Bay Area that me and my girlfriend have tasted at, but I can say that this is the best. Drew runs the floor very well, and didn't seem to leave one customer waiting with an empty glass. There where about 13-15 people in the store at the time we were in there, and everyone was having a great time! I also noticed that a majority of the customer where walking out with large purchases of wine!
There where customers that seemed to be out of town (Peninsula, Monterey) that haven't been there before, still walk out with purchases of wine....and Drew was always at the other end of that purchase!
I've already recommended this place to others, and I will be coming back very soon!

I'm a bartender in Santana row and i wanted to check this place out..so I visited Vintage Wine the other day just to look around (not planning on buying a thing)... I"m not much of a wine connoisseur but i loved the variety. I was greeted by a very nice down to earth gentleman named drew who offered some very interesting knowledge on the wines. Since i knew nothing about what i liked or disliked, he actually took the time to tell me about a bunch of different wines and got me to buy something under my own will power... great dude and great hair i would definitely be coming back because of his great service he provides at your establishment.

Drew was the most helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable individual I have come across in the customer service industry. Even though I'm a bartender in Santana Row, I came to the store with a limited understanding about wines in general, but I left with what felt like a PhD in vineyard fermentation practices and a minor of wine making history. I knew there were different varieties of grapes, but I didn't realize the extent to which some vineyards went to replicate tastes from the past century. His witty professionalism, pleasant demeanor, and passion for wines completely flabbergasted me. I'm not much of a wine drinker, but my views are changing and I am starting to fathom why some are labeled "wine enthusiasts". I will definitely be going back to Drew for my next wine selection. Bravo!
