I hired David Azimi and his team earlier this year to help me sell my house in Richmond. I’d had it on the market for about 7 months of the prior year with another agent, who was unable to sell it. Consequently, I was not optimistic.

But I was immediately taken with David’s enthusiasm and assurance that ‘we’ll get this baby sold and I won’t stop until we do.’ Sales hype, I thought, but I went with him because that kind of energy is exactly what I needed. Then he sprang into action and I saw the difference between an agent who is fully committed to selling your property vs. one who isn’t.

My prior realtors had one or two open houses spread over a couple of weekends and then a call for offers. When that didn’t produce offers, they did pretty much nothing except leave the listing up along with a sign in front of my house.

Not David. First of all, he had two open houses every weekend and after a few calls for offers didn’t produce anything, he ramped up the effort and continued to have 2 open houses per weekend and promised to continue that until the place sold. He kept me apprised all along the way of developments and never flagged in his enthusiasm.

He also helped me stage some parts of the house without having to stage the whole thing and never charged me for it. And he had his cleaning team go through the house at no charge to clean both the inside and outside for the showing. And then, for the first showing, he had a small band to create a festive atmosphere. All at no charge.

When the house didn’t sell initially (it was a 2/2 not a 3/2, which seriously impacted its sellability), we dropped the price significantly to generate more traffic. After something like 6 weekends of two open houses we got one offer. Just one. And from that, he was able to wrangle over $100k above asking. I have no idea how the hell he did that. But he did that.

Bottom line: if you want a realtor with the tenacity of an attack dog and the sophistication of someone who’s been at this for a long time, hire David Azimi and his sons and team. No one will take better care of you and help you sell your house.

I can’t say enough great things about David. This was my second time working with him and both experiences were outstanding. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, consistently responsive, and truly easy to work with. Each transaction was smooth and completely stress‑free thanks to his professionalism and guidance.
