I really enjoyed the course—it gave me inspiration related to my current client, who purchased a new home before selling their existing one. Since they fall under the $500K capital gains exemption, the course also made me reconsider when it would actually be most feasible to apply a 1031 exchange, as many transactions fall within this exemption limit.

Brian was extremely helpful in the exchange process, spending a good deal of time explaining the process and coaching my wife and I through our confusion. There were several choices involved in our 1031 exchange and complications with the sale of the relinquished property,which eventually did sell. By that time however, due to a variety of circumstances we decided to postpone the replacement property purchase and rent instead for a year.
Brian is a most knowledgeable professional, but more than this, he is a great communicator, has an excellent sense of humor, and will be our go to guy next year if we sell a second investment property and buy in Delaware.
