I have known Jen for many years and when my husband and I were ready to purchase our first home, there was no one else we could think of working with besides Jen. With Jen as our agent, I truly felt like I could be myself and give her my honest opinion or change my mind without judgement (which I did several times). She was a friend, an advisor, and would not steer us in a direction she would not steer her own family. The entire process was smooth, transparent, and as stress free as home buying can be with Jen as our agent. She checked in with us after we closed and made sure we were settling in nicely. I cannot recommend Jen for all of your real estate needs more.

Jen did a fantastic job of quickly finding houses in an area of Shawnee, close to my daughter’s house and easy driving to the hospital and stores on Shawnee Mission Parkway. I was living in Oklahoma, so Jen emailed the house sites, pictures, and info. My favorite one was videoed by my daughter while Jen showed her through.

Jen is fantastic. Not only did she soothe our fears of buying our first house but she was super responsive via text--always ready to schedule showings for us, flexible with her time and lovely when we met up with her. Our buying process wasn't as smooth as we would like (sellers fault) and she was there for us the entire time, going above and beyond for the littlest things. Her recommendations of vendors was really helpful to navigate this scary transition. I would recommend Jen Young again and again--she'll get our business as long as we're in KC and we'll be recommending all our friends to Jen as well.

Our move from New Zealand back to Kansas City was difficult enough, not to include the monumental task of finding the right home in a short supply, and competitive Mid-West housing market. It's fair to say, Jen had a tall task in working with us, while we were overseas, and when we arrived back to North America. True to the professional, personable, and classy person that she is, Jen worked tirelessly to not only assist us in our wide ranging 300K to 1.5M home search, but also whatever we needed as in our transition home. While we are not proud to say we likely set the record of the most homes seen (North of 50), Jen never wavered in our search, was incredibly patient, always communicated, and finally landed us with a home that was pretty close to a Goldilocks "just right", in the exact area we had hoped. On the ground it took five months, however we worked with Jen for well over nine. Insightful, well-connected, extremely client oriented, and super organized, our family highly recommends Jen, and the NextHome Gadwood Group.

Six years ago I was a divorced, unemployed, female veteran living in a homeless shelter for military veterans. Fast-forward to two years ago when I was introduced to Jennifer Young by a mutual friend. My journey toward home ownership was fraught with pitfalls and disappointments. Covid hit the housing market and then exploded, which threw my house hunting into high gear. Jen had my back. Jen was wonderful throughout the entirety of this process. We ended up closing on the house super fast (24 ish days) and Jen was super helpful with making the whole process simplified and easy for us, and she is also not one of these salesmen “robots” that you sometimes see that more just want you to “buy buy buy”, but instead Jen genuinely wants you to select The best house for you and your particular situation. Would recommend Jen 100/100 times, will definitely reach out to her again.
